The Burtch House was built in 2001 on the banks of the beautiful Manistee River.
It is located on M-72, 8 miles west of Grayling, Michigan.
Our spacious guest room, done in tongue and groove knotty pine, has a lovely fireplace and is very tastefully
decorated. A special sitting area has two window walls looking out over the river, so close you can see the fish swimming
in the incredibly clear water! The guest room also has a private bath and its own private entrance.
Relax on the 60-foot deck and watch the river flow by or view the beautiful mature pines on the other
side. See ducks, deer, beaver, mink, a variety of birds and on some occasions, the majestic eagle.
A canoe is provided and a fishing guide is available for trout fishing in one of the original Grayling
river boats, found nowhere else.
An excellent breakfast is served either in the dining room overlooking the river, on the deck when weather
permits or in your room, if you prefer.
